The company AWAS s.r.o. has been established in summer 1995.
The original name of the company was SCHNEIDER – tlakova vzduchotechnika s.r.o. and at that time had just started its activities in the area of Bratislava city as a sole distributor and service center for SCHNEIDER DRUCKLUFT Germany products.
Since the beginning of our history we have been involved in selling air compressors, compressed air treatment units, pneumatic tools, compressed air pipe distribution systems and all kinds of related ancillaries.
To support our sales we offer services such as consulting for design of compressed air stations, creation of our own designs of such systems, advising necessary air treatment to suit customers air quality requirements together with assembling and installation of the equipment.
During and after warranty period we provide services for all technologies and equipment supplied and installed by our company.
In the year 1999 we have started our partnership with company KV Limited, GB (presently Parker KV Division) in the field of pneumatic components and systems for automation processes (air cylinders, valves, vacuum pumps…). We became the exclusive distributor for the entire Slovakia and afterwards followed the change of company name to the present AWAS s.r.o.
Successively we have widened our range of products by co-operation with another companies. Namely it is JOHN GUEST Ltd. (Great Britain) and also an AIRCOM company (Italy), both as the specialists for compressed air pipeline distribution systems, French company AVM Automation who is a producer of high quality pneumatic manipulators, SAS Automation (Germany) who are specialists in automation engineering, component-based robotic end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) and Morali (Germany) who deals with vacuum technologies.
KV Ltd. has been acquired by Parker Hannifin back in 2008 so our company has become a part of Parker’s group of distributors as a matter of natural consequences. We are Parker’s distributor in many areas but mainly in the area of pneumatic tools and air settings and filtering engineering.
Our goal is to be a reliable partner for everyone using compressed air during work or who might need universal and professional help in the field of compressed air.
